2024 Athletics Ontario Indoors Championships
The provincials indoor track championships started earlier this year. The U18’s kicked things off at the Toronto Track and Field Center on Feb 10, followed by the U8’s to U14’s on Feb 24 and rounding it up for the U16’s and U20’s on Mar 2. The Toronto Olympic Club juniors had fantastic results all around benefited from relentless training all season long. Also thanks to the warmer than usual weather in Toronto this year.

One of our newest athlete, Callum C., faced off against a strong field of 103 boys in the 800m. His time of 2:24.34 is his personal best. Great job in his first indoor track season.

Promoted to the U18 this year, Brianna Lovshin competed in the women 800m delivering a season's best time of 2:27.21.
Another junior athlete, Selma N, went up an age group to finish the women 3000m in 11:13.99, 8th overall among 22 runners.

Three of our female junior athletes raced the 800m. Leading off with Selma N with a time of 2:33.55. C.B. finished 2 seconds behind at 2:35.44 and B.D. at 2:40.80.
Selma also competed in the girls 2000m with a top 10 finish. Her time was 7:09.24.
C.B was another athlete doubling up in the Championship, who finished the girls 300m with a respectable time of 46.07.

Kyle Leung represented Toronto Olympic Club in the U14 category and took home 2 silver medals in the boys 2000m and 1200m with times of 6:37.25 and 3:44.85 respectively. Both being his personal best.

One of our youngest athlete, L.K. raced for the girls 1000m and 600m. LK's 3:45.09 in the 1000m put her in 8th while delivering a time of 2:13.48 in the 600m.
