Bryan Rusche - Junior Development Coach

Brian Rusche

Bryan has been involved in sport most of his life running cross country and participating in track and field as a youth before he caught the cycling bug as a young teenager. For two decades Bryan competed at the provincial, national and sometimes international level in ProAm events in North America and the UK.

In 2001, Bryan got started with triathlon completing his first Ironman which got him back to serious running. Today, Bryan focuses on balancing work, family (two young girls) and his passion for endurance sport. Recent highlights include: Winning the 2016 Toronto Goodlife Marathon; 6th Master at the 2018 Boston Marathon with a time of 2:37:32, 4th at the 2017 Ironman 70.3 World Championships in the M40-44 age group, 8th at the 2019 ITU Olympic Distance World Championship in the M40-44 age group.

After a lifetime as an athlete, Bryan wants to share his passion with other athletes and help youth get the same out of sport as he has.
